Understanding the Healing Crisis: Your Dog May Feel Worse Before They Feel Better

Hi All,

Hope you are enjoying your day. I've wanted to share this information for a while now and sorry I haven't been posting as much as I used to. I have a lot of great things coming! I will be back to posting information that I feel can make a difference in your life and help you your fur baby end the needless suffering and feeling hopeless.

I've been a health and life coach for 6 plus years now and I have the amazing opportunity for further help others in my alignment with a wonderful functional medicine doctor. I've been helping pet owners since I reversed Sonnie's irritable bowl syndrome in 2016.

The one thing I want to stress is that natural healing doesn't happen over night. It can take up to 24 months to completely heal. In these weeks and/or months depending on how chronic your dog's ailment is will determine how long or short.

Here is my latest article in Brainz Magazine on The Healing Crisis: Feeling Worse Before You Feel Better: Here it is: https://www.brainzmagazine.com/.../the-healing-crisis...

A dog's system is very similar to ours and the same healing process applies.

During this time your dog will experience a healing crisis which means in the "healing" stage your body will start to remove toxins, chemicals, bacteria and other foreign invaders. The "crisis" whereas the symptoms may be felt mildly or it can hit you like a Mack truck. Somewhat either like feeling more fatigued, maybe have bouts of diarrhea and other symptoms or it may mimic a condition they had earlier on. This doesn't mean that your dog's wellness journey isn't working, it means that this is the way the body heals itself. It's peaks and valleys until you have reached complete healing. It heals from the inside out, from your head down to your toes and in reverse. Dr. Constantine Hering discovered this and what happens to the body. It's called the Hering's Law of Cure.

I can't tell you how many people have lost faith in the natural healing process only to have their dog have bigger setbacks in their health in the long run.

Patience and trusting the process is huge. I remember myself at times questioning it when I was reversing IBS with Sonnie and also reversing my own ailments. I read a lot from many doctors and understood that this was a part of the journey to ultimate well being and happiness so I let go of limited beliefs and expecting things to happen when I wanted then to and stuck with it. I'm very happy I did.

If I could reach one person with hopefully helping them see that their is light at the end of the tunnel and to stick with it then I've done my job.

Healing can increase your happiness and overall life satisfaction. When your dog goes through the process of healing, you give them a chance to move past the pain once and for all, and then feel relieved thereafter. There is no better way to feel happy and satisfied than to help your dog overcome something that has been causing them pain and discomfort.

What do you need to let go off in order to gain the patience you need in the process to climb that hill knowing there is victory on the other side?
